Question Guest topics are not posting

When a guest posts a new topic, it does not show up for the moderator to approve it. It is not visible at all. Although, the moderator is able to see guest posts that are replies. Posts by registered users are working correctly as well.

What is preventing moderators from seeing new topics posted by guests?

Unfortunately he is having a slightly different problem. I am not receiving an error message. When I post a new topic as a guest, it goes through like everything is ok. I get the message that says the new post will be posted once it has been moderated.

The problem is that when I go to moderate the new topic, it is not there. This problem only exists when guests try to post new topics.

It's a bit difficult to begin diagnosing the problem when

(1) We do not have your configuration report (as requested in the posting guide printed at the top of this page); and

(2) We cannot access your site as you would access your site to see why it is that you are not seeing these guests post to review and approve.

So, without these two vital pieces of information, you're on your own to obtain what information exists on this forum and in the documentation Wiki, or apply a bit of educated intuition, to figure it out. We need to update the Wiki; it's a never-ending job and there are simply not enough people who have donated their time to the task.

We had problem like this in Kunena 2.0.0 but it was thought to be fixed. If the error is still in Kunena 2.0.1 we need extra information to help us to track down the issue.

As administrator I am unable to reproduce the issue. I can see pending messages and I can approve those.
