Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I set the settings to Yes but it displays the message below in the K2.0 forum.

"The administrator has disabled public write access"


Security Settings
Allow Guests to Post/Write "Yes"
Moderate Guests "Yes"

CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests "Yes"
I have all the reCAPTCHA sections filled with my keys.

Stop Forum Spam Configuration
API key
I have also set with my Key.

OK, its not a bug, but a new feature:

you need to set it individually

1) go to Category Manager
2) edit the categorie
3) Permissions
4) on the bottom you see 2 new features.
-User Groups Allowed To Post
-User Groups Allowed To Reply

Sorry, I can't seem to find the above you are refering to.
I get the below results.
Path I took from pulldown:

Kunena Forum / Category Permissions / Select a check box, then press edit

Results shown below:


Access Control Type:

"Acces level"
"Community Builder"
"User Groups"

<- When I click on "User Groups" I Get

Primary User Group: Further Clicking gets: Public / Manager/ Administrator ETC...
Primary Includes Child Groups: "Yes / No"
Secondary User Group: Further Clicking gets: Public / Manager/ Administrator ETC...
Secondary Includes Child Groups: "Yes / No"

No User Group Allowed or User Groups Allowed To Reply to Post anywhere I could see.



Access Level:
"Public"
"Registered"
"Special"
