Question Additional field

Good day!
I have add additional field to user profile by modify teamplate file html/user/edit_profile.php, additional I add several field to kunena data base (in kunena_users). I have no problem to read additional field from DB, but I can't found what function update user profile in DB (in kunena_users table). What can I do for take ability to update my additional field in kunena_users table by my data entered in edit_profile.php? What files I must change?

These are areas of special interest so some users and they involved advanced knowledge of PHP programming, database design and Joomla framework know-how. It is impossible within the constraints of a self-help forum to provide a full tutorial assistance to people who want to customise Joomla in ways like we are discussing here. Certainly, it is impossible to provide full support in relation to an activity that would take many hours to develop, test and prove.
