Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hi

Please can someone help me. Kunena has been uploaded and was working and I was able to create accounts.

But since I, either changed configuration settings, added Captcha or Kunena Light Protection plugin - my "Create Account" link opens up an empty page. The login details still work perfectly. I'm also getting the following template error when I login into the backend. Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/corpsvqb/public_html/administrator/components/com_kunena/views/templates/tmpl/edit.php on line 67

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you
Karen

G'day, Karen and welcome to Kunena

There are three issues here:

(1) You are using a third party product that is not associated with the Kunena project;
(2) There's a problem with Joomla displaying an account registration page; and
(3) There's a problem involving Kunena when you "login to your Joomla administration site".

I have not heard of a product called Kunena Light Protection but if you mean Forum Protection Light then you should ask the developer of that product if it compatible with K 2.0.3.

In relation to user registration and login issues, generally-speaking, the general advice is to read the FAQs page that addresses how Kunena is involved in such things. Basically, Kunena is not involved with such things; these are matters that are controlled by how you have setup Joomla to allow for user registration and login. You should also read what we have written in the past about user registration in How do I register new users to my website and where should they login to use my website?

The third issue has me intrigued.

Can you provide us with more information please? I do not understand how you get this message when you login to your administration site.

I found another topic that mentions "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/corpsvqb/public_html/administrator/components/com_kunena/views/templates/tmpl/edit.php on line 67": Adding new default Topic Icons and Category Icons but I don't know whether your problem relates to that one.
