Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Question How to add a main topic title in the content subscription?

Replied by MarioMari on topic Re:

Therefore, if you have an email that says "Subject: Re: xxxx", it's a but like saying "Subject: Subject: xxxx" ... and that's just unnecessary, wouldn't you agree?

I do not use "re:", myself, in anything I write.

— Problem that you have read the forum only repeated the main topics that is simply pointless.

The problem is that you and I are the only two people having this discussion. You and I have differing opinions. You have a "need" for something; I don't know how to give you a technical solution and no-one else seems interested. I think those observations I have made should tell you something. I don't have anything more to add to this discussion at this time.

Good luck and I hope you find the answer you're looking for. I'm sorry but I don't have it.

I understand. In the end it is not a strategic error, and the only logical.
Maybe my problems stem from the fact that I'm trying to test the Kunena forum among people mature and demanding greater consequences.

Please answer only if you see this inconsistency and the gap in the transmitted content from the online subscription?

Replied by MarioMari on topic problem missing "Re:"

This is only my opinion but, in our attempts to use "plain English", outdated usages like the word "Re" are unnecessary.

Once before I wrote about it and gave examples of other forums where this problem is not a problem.
- forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop/general
- discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/os_x_mountain_lion
- forum.globaltimes.cn/forum/showthread.php?t=23810
etc.

So my view that the defect may be a lack of clarity so. automatic "Re:" in the responses Kunena forum can also be right.

Therefore, please take into account the introduction of an automatic prefix to the post in topic such as an option in the preferences.

In view of the absence of the prefix "Re:" in the title is a response to the forums you can add a subscription for topic content?
