Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.
Question How to add a main topic title in the content subscription?
A standard subscription Kunena message contains a header indicating the category and subject post.
If you change the title of your post, Kunena will send the subscription without the main topic for this post. It is sometimes confusing.
How to add a row to subscription with title topic?

Could you please confirm your configuration report details. I will point this topic to the development team. Can you provide us with case study examples of what seems to be the issue here and we will try to get a response back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you for your very interesting question. I don't know the answer.

I would like to appear in the message subject and the title of the post title.
My question is how can I improve the current code Kunena?
P.S.
Note that here comes the problem Kunena no prefix "Re:" in the title of the default response topic, as they are developed other forums.

The behaviour that you've described has been this way for as long as I can remember in all versions of Kunena. In the 4+ years that I have been involved with Kunena, this is the first time that I have seen this matter raised as a problem for someone. We appreciate that you have spent time looking at ideas for improving the usefulness of Kunena, generally-speaking. I have two comments that I would like to make at this time:
(1) The suggestion that you made, to change the message subject in the subject in emails sent to users who are subscribed to a topic, so that the subject matches the subject of the post (and not the subject of the topic) is an "interesting" idea. I am sure that everyone will have a different opinion whether the current way is satisfactory (and not "confusing" to them, as you suggested) or whether your approach is a better way. Other people may want to allow some kind of configurability in this area.
This means that we need to consider whether the Kunena project team should change the whole product from the way that it has always worked for the past 4 years (because one person has suggested that this would be better) - and risk other people asking the opposite question which would be "can I have things back the way they were, please?" - or should we add a new feature to make this choice something that each forum owner can choose for themselves?
Changing the current behaviour in K 2.0 is, in my opinion, infeasible at this time. It's just not going to happen. Therefore what we are really discussing here is not how to make this work for everyone (i.e. a "feature request") but instead, how are we going to make this work just for you. I do not know how to make this work just for you - I am not a developer - and the development team already has more work to do than there are hours in the day.
Therefore, we will leave this matter to some kind-hearted soul who has the time and the interest to investigate this for you and offer you a suggestion and, on that note, this is where I am leaving this discussion.
(2) As far as inserting the word "Re:" in front of the message subject, we've discussed this before and you already know that the "Re:" prefix was dropped when K 2.0 was released.
This is only my opinion but, in our attempts to use "plain English", outdated usages like the word "Re" are unnecessary. "RE:", these days, is unnecessary jargon and most people do not know what the word means or how it is supposed to be used properly. Some people think is is shorthand for the word "regarding"; actually, this is one time I would definitely disagree with Wikipedia. Re is not an abbreviation, it is a whole word. In the English-speaking world today, we avoid the misuse of the word "re" in normal business correspondence. The word is usually reserved only in very formal circumstances, e.g. formal legal documents where the full Latin term in re applies.
Therefore, if you have an email that says "Subject: Re: xxxx", it's a but like saying "Subject: Subject: xxxx" ... and that's just unnecessary, wouldn't you agree?
I do not use "re:", myself, in anything I write.

I did not apply for the addition of new features.
For me, that is a fact. Change the title subject leads to a lack of important information in the header of your subscription. For me this is an error, so I asked for advice on how to change the code if a user Kunena as I consider it worth it to add to its release.
Ad.2.
"re:" - I understand, but I talked about it once. Use the default for the same subject as the thread title is not easy reading content online, and use mode "Threaded" and reading these messages sent by subscription online. For this reason, for me the problem unsolved to this day in the Kunena.
Does this mean that the Kunena project is ill? - Definitely do not think so.
Do you think that Kunena 2.0.2 should offer basic functionality and proven experience of other older projects forum? - No, but until the invention of his own invention should repeat what is developed through experience and the need to work with a discussion forum.
One active user on the forum who reports a problem is statistically significant percentage of users who use the forum but did not speak to the forum - have already wrote about it once. — I have enough on his defense, by the way, "Only you have a problem".
Best Regards!
