Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

The error code HTTP 500 Internal Server Error is a general-purpose message this indicates a general error in a web application. Please note that there is no general solution for this general error. You should first read HTTP 500 Internal Server Error before posting in this category.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi Matias, I saw you have fixed the code and changed to the one you have posted, but I'm now getting error 404 and in the error log it shows:


PHP Fatal error: __clone method called on non-object in .../components/com_kunena/controllers/home.php on line 35

And on line 35 I got this line:

$default = $menu->getItem ( KunenaRoute::getItemID("index.php?option=com_kunena&view=category&layout=list") );


The browser shows:

Not Found

The requested URL /esferadobem/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


But if you type www.esferadobem.com.br/index.php you have this in the server, but a link like those gives the error:

- www.esferadobem.com.br/esferadobem/index...s&Itemid=188&lang=br

- www.esferadobem.com.br/esferadobem/index...d&Itemid=184&lang=br

Any idea what can be wrong?

Ok, as posted above the links I'm getting error, I have noticed that the Kunena menus are redirecting my links to...

www.esferadobem.com.br/esferadobem/index.php ... instead of www.esferadobem.com.br/index.php

Any idea why it is adding the "/EsferaDoBem/" path? How to make it gets rid?

^ Forget it. Wierd, but I noticed if I remove the redirection from my server, it goes back to the normal. The weird part is that the redirection was normal to:

esferadobem.com.br/index.php?ption=com_kunena ...

And not containing any "/esferadobem/" path in it.

Well, if it starts to show an error again I'll post back.

^ Nope, it is happening at random, I just noticed that even without the redirection that I have removed from the server, Kunena is pointing the menu sometimes as I mentioned before with the extra path "/esferadobem/ which brings me the error below:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Prety weird the same menu sometimes link to:

www.esferadobem.com.br/esferadobem/index.php ...

and other as the correct that should be

www.esferadobem.com.br/index.php ...

Any idea why it is happening?

There are two places to start with your investigation:

(1) Are you using the standard method for implementing Joomla SEO (see Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) )?

(2) Are you using the default, unchanged/unmodified Kunena menu or have you made changes to the Kunena menu?

These two things affect SEF URLs.
