Question Post subscriptions and administrators

Hey there,
I'm having the following problem since fireboard, but now I finally decided to find out how to fix it with kunena

When I answer topics and subscribe to them as admin I don't get any e-mail notifications. What am I doing wrong? My administrator account is selected as the forum moderator, but nothing.

Have you selected one of

• Security » E-mail Moderators = yes
• Security » E-mail Administrators = yes

in the Kunena Configuration settings?

Yes, both settings are set to "yes"

Hmmm :S ... well, that's a puzzlement! With respect to the other half of your question - subscribing to forum topics - I presume that you've checked the subscription checkbox when making a reply or the topic subscription button?

I'm not well qualified to solve your problem, but it may help someone else if you provide details of your setup:

• Joomla version
• Kunena version
• Other Joomla extensions, such as Community Builder, Jomsocial, GroupJive, Clexus, that have some capacity to work with Kunena.

Yep, In front end I can see that I'm subscribed to all topics , but I don't get any e-mails.

I was using fireboard without CB - same problem

Now I use kunena 1.0.8 with CB - same problem

My Joomla installation is 1.5.9

I really believe that this is a configuration problem, but I have no clue what I've did wrong.

Aside from the obvious clue - that you haven't received emails with either Fireboard or Kunena - namely, are you absolutely sure that your email address is correct in your user profile? And, by user profile, I mean you should check your Joomla profile, your Community Builder profile and your Kunena profile and, preferably, synchronise the profile data using the CB and Kunena tools, I don't have any better advice for you at this time.
