Question Boardcode "FAQ" Issue

Here is an example of a link to the FAQ:

index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=41&func=faq#boardcode

When I click on this, instead of seeing the FAQ, I am seeing the content from the homepage. My content marked as "frontpage" is showing, instead of the FAQ.

Can anyone help with this?

This is similar in nature to the "How do I create a rules page?" question that is often asked.

Have a look at the value for the Kunena configuration parameter, Frontend >> Help Content ID. I'll bet, in your case, the value is 1.

Your solution is to

1. Write and publish a "forum help/FAQ" page: it would be to your advantage to actually include some information about BBcode in your article. If you want to impress your users, "anchor" the HTML with a <a name=boardcode> tag where you explain to what boardcode is all about
2. Obtain the article ID for the page that you've written; and
3. Insert the article ID in the Help Content ID.

Although in my forum settings, I have Enable Help Page set to "no". So how come the "BB Code" text is still a link to the help page? Is that a bug?

I wouldn't call it a bug - I'd call it a design feature!
