Question Custom form - mail to form - or integration with chronofoms

Custom form - mail to form - or integration with chronofoms was created by 0be1
I have been searching for sometime for the following functionality and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We currently have an intranet page that we use in our support department and fill out a form for tier 2 support. It is a standard from and gets sent through the internal email system. The problem with this is when tier2 responds and a resolution to the problem has been found, we need to take the data and then do a write up and post it into (currently) mediawiki. I was hoping to be able to do this in a more streamlined process like using a CMS or something similar.
We have a few joomla site and originally I tried fireboard and that would not do it (and it was kind of difficult to configure to be honest) we tried vanilla, that does not have the functionality. You cannot do it (currently in phpbb3), you can it phpbb2 (if you can find the download) with and add-on called mail 2 form (m2f) which was also hard to configure and would not work. I happened to find the new component Kunena and decide to attempt again since I was somewhat familiar with Fireboard.
Will all that said, is there a way to do one of the following in Kunena:
1) The user submit the standard from from the Intranet web site and then a thread would be started in Kunena OR
2) Do a custom form within Kunena itself that would start the initial thread and email all subscribed users (yes, I know that when just a plain thread is started that users can get emailed for notifications) but them form information is the key. OR
3) Get a form submitted from another component such as Chronoforms or something similar that could get passed to Kuenea and start the thread. We have written a custom form in Chronoforms and it works perfect, but that is only have the equation to the problem.
I hope all this makes sense, and my apologies for the long post. Unfortunately I do not know how to code, otherwise I would attempt it myself.

Sounds like you just need a help desk system. There used to be a couple on JED. Don't know about form integration though.
Right now that is impossible to do with Kunena. Since you cannot code, and neither can I, you would probably need to hire someone to do it for you. Especially if it's for what I would call commercial use.

grumblemarc;
Thanks for the response. However, I am not looking for a help desk system (although I could probably find a use for that also) but we already have a CRM and I would not say that we are not quite at the commercial level, but someday hopefully.
I guess we will look into getting one of our developers to be able to help out possibly, if not, I guess we just keep on dreaming.
Thanks again
