I use Kunena 1.0.8 and JACL with Joomla 1.5.9. I created a usergroup in JACL and assigned a bunch of forums to that usergroup in Kunena.
Unfortunately it does not show new posts recent discussions and in my discussions for these forums assigned with the new JACL group.
If I set it to registered it does fine, obviously but it will not show the recent posts from the forums assigned to JACL groups.
I have not hacked Kunena in any way.
I have some ideas how to tinker to get the recent discussions and my discussions to show with the new JACL groups.
What file and area would I want to look in to find the settings specifically where it decides based on the ACL what recent posts that show in my discussions so I can begin to tinker with making it recognize new JACL groups.
One important thing is, that the mod_recent 1.0.34 that was posted by another person on this forum DOES recognize the jacl groups and shows the posts correctly.
If a module can do it it shouldnt be to hard to make the recent discussions do it to, just need to know where to start tinkering with the code.
