Hey,

I have chosen to use Kunena Forum and have somehow managed to screw it up.

Is there any way to reset any changes I made to it?

Brand new installation? You've got existing messages? Have you ever tried this before? What versions of Joomla and Kunena are you using? Are you trying to integrate with third-party products like Community Builder or JomSocial? Have you considered uninstalling and re-installing? How did you manage to "screw it up"? What, specifically, was "it" that is now screwed up? Are we talking about a test system or a live production system? ... and a few thousand more questions along these lines ... :(

It is just a test system at the moment and will be for the next 5 months.

I installed it and started to look through the config settings. I changed a few things on the config list and when I went back to view the forum, the layout was text was all messed up.

The config list is HUGE and I have tried to go back over it to undo what ever changes I made but still have a problem.

I am using Joomla 1.5 and it is running in legacy (maybe I dont have legacy running)?

I have uninstalled it and re installed it but it still gives me a problem.

The short answer to your question is, I don't think there's a quick reset-everything-to-the-first-time-I-used-Kunena function.

The correct answer is - you've probably guessed - be patient. When you're testing a brand new product, change one thing and only one thing at a time and see the results of that change before you change anything else. B)

However, all is not lost. I suspect, looking at your website, that you've changed the parameter User Joomla Style = Yes. Change this back to "No" and see if it improves the situation. Let us know how you go on.

For future reference, if you do decide to start all over again, make a printout of all the parameters so that you have a baseline. When you make changes that you want to keep, print a new copy and highlight the changes in pen; that's what I do.

Good luck
