Can anyone offer assistance / suggestions on this one?

I had a version of Fireboard installed, which didn't work, now I have a version of Kunena that doesn't work! No change there then. To be honest, aside from a skin change it looks no different, still the same missing functions. See below, I could not remove users from Fireboard either.

Try as I might, I cannot see how to delete users, I know I'm only a newbie, but forgive me for asking, usually when you have users on a system, if they offend you, then there is normally a little button or icon with the words DELETE or something similar on it.
Could any kind soul tell me where I may find this option?
Thanks in advance

The Kunena-Users are Joomla-Users, too. You can remove users over Joomla-Backend | Site | User. Or does this not work? Maybe you have to synch Database with Joomla in Kunena (Joomla Backend -> components -> kunena forum -> user synchronisation.

Thank you for the quick response, I did consider that, but when I go to the user manager in Joomla, the list of users on that is different to the list of users on the Kunena system. Some on the Kunena have no name against them, just an id no. Ans as I said somewhat acidly on my originial post, there appears to be no way to delete.

There are 13 users in Joomla, but only 8 on the Kunena part. I am concerned about synchronising, because ALL of my experiences with Fireboard, and Kunena have been decidedly poor.

What does synchronise do? I have read that it can be risky.
Thanks Phatt

Kunena only tracks users that have been visiting the forum. If you haven't been in forum, you don't have ID in Kunena. That's ok.

Why do you want to delete a user?

Hi

I have the same "problem". I've made a few test users while testing out different things on our homepage, and on I deleted them. However they leave a gap in the Kunena user list. Only the user id shows and the rest is blank.

This is not a big problem, at least not yet. But I still wish I could remove them totally.

Any suggestion to how I could get this fixed?

The first suggestion is to do what Lintzy suggested in #6562 . Do you require more help on how to use the function?
