Hi,

No items showed up on the 'Recent Posts' section of my board (which is set to private) until I put the id for specific categories. Is there anyway that all categories will automatically be listed in the 'Recent Posts' section?

I have quite a few categories and would like to not have to list all the category id's in order to get them to be listed in the Recent Posts plugin. I didn't have this issue until I changed over from fireboard to kunena.

Any and all feedback welcomed... Also, I will post elsewhere about 2 other issues which may be associated, but I am unsure...
  1. I have to make category accessible to all users instead of 'all registered' in order for them to appear in the 'jump to' list.
  2. The 'Last Post' column sometimes says 'No Post' even when new posts are noted elsewhere; it is not updating automatically

Saving settings in Fireboard sets Recent Post Settings / Show Category = 0, which is illegal value.

Try to leave the configuration setting empty. Does it work for you?

1. Jump to list does not list private categories. It never did.

2. I haven't seen this issue. Have you tried to recount stats?

Hi Matias,

Thanks for the info about the Jump to list. Will adjust settings to populate that list as necessary.

I think I have resolved (somewhat) the last post updating and have posted elsewhere re: suggestion that I was having the problem because of joomla-kunena category access conflict. Just to note that recount stats always worked.

With the setting empty I get no entries. If I enter a few category id's I get some entries. When I attempt to include a number of category id's (let's say upwards of 8), I once again end up with no entries showing.

Will patiently wait for other suggestions. I would like to use the Recent Posts section.
