Question Recent Topics not working only for a single user

Recent Topics not working only for a single user was created by larryf
I have Kunena 1.0.8 working on Joomla 1.5.9 with JomSocial. The conversion from Fireboard went fine and all seemed to work great. However, after about 24 hours, I can no longer access the "Recent Discussions" or "Show Latest Posts". I get a blank page with an empty source code when using these links. They DID work after the conversion, but no longer. What's strange, is these links work fine for everyone else, except for me. They don't work for me regardless of what computer I'm on. If I logoff and visit the forum as guest, the links work. I'm the Super Admin, but I doubt that makes a difference. I've reinstalled Kunena and cleared my cookies, but neither resolved the problem.
I suspect it's a database setting on my user account that's preventing the Recent Discussions appearing. Ideas? :S

Try if this works:
Go to Plugins / Recent Post Settings / Show Category and remove 0 from there.
I need more information to solve this one if that doesn't work. Can you look your Apache error log just after you have got that blank page if there is an error.

Thanks for the quick reply. There's no 0 in "Show Category" - it's blank. I also DID uninstall Fireboard before installing Kunena. I'll taker a look in the error log and get back with you.
Update (30 minutes later):
I went to create the error and look at the error log. The problem is GONE! All is working well for me again ???? I did make a couple mods to the Kunena pages today, but don't know if (or how) this would have resolved the problem.
1) Added the kunena_msg_1 module position with ads.
2) Removed a user menu I had on the right side of the page. However, there's still other items shown on the right side.
Oh well... although I'd like to know what happened and why, I won't "look a gift horse in the mouth". It works, and that's the most important part.

It may have been some minor issue with the configuration. Did you save it?
But I'm glad that it works for you again!
