Question Close all tags - never worked

Hello,

one question: What function has the "Close all tags" in the editor?

I tried a lot of different things (e.g. have a [ b] and no [/ b]) but can't see any function... :S

It should close all open bbcode tags but appears to be broken. I'll report it for a fix.

Has it ever worked? I tested it now with Fireboard 1.0.5 and it also didn't work.

I haven't seen a hint in BOJ-Forum about that so my question: Is it needed or should we delete this function?

It is, generally speaking, an option found in most forum software and is most likely an easy fix. I'm not sure about how far back the bug goes but Fireboard was VERY buggy so I do not doubt that it is an old bug. I rarely, probably never, use the function but it has it's purpose so we'll leave it in and fix it most likely.

I tried it now with Joomlaboard and it don't work. The code comes from phbb and they don't have such function now.
