Hi all.

I don't know how to use the translation files provided. I have copied a language file to [...] administrator\components\com_kunena\language but the interface doesn't have changed its labels. I've tried some names to the file:
kunena.ptBR.php
kunena.pt-BR.php
kunena.portuguese.php
kunena.portuguese_brazilian.php

But it doesn't work

Thanks.

Francisco Antônio.

Right now, there are no language file provided, work in official trasnlations will start as soon as we release 1.0.8

That said, to use any of the unofficial translations done by our users, you just have to copy them in your language folder, as you said.

BUT

Kunena uses same language you have in joomla, so, if your joomla is in english, your kunena will be too.

Also, if your joomla language is called pt_BR, and you call your kunena language file kunena.portuguese.php it will not work either, kunena language file (the language part), and joomla language name has to be the same.

Hi johnnydement, thank you very much for your reply.

I've discovered the right name the file has to have:

kunena.brazilian_portuguese.php.

Thanks again.
