Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Greetings... Found the answer to 2 of 3 issues posted already so very happy.
2 are in the Bug list ( Messy Avatar Upload & User Display Error ).
Fixes applied & all is well.

I have seen the 'How to Remove Category DropDown' post & contemplated doing that.
However, that is not a fix in the true sense.
So before I post this as a bug, I thought I'd ask for advice first.

I have Categories, Forum, content, all publish, none locked.
All displays well.
The problem is the drop down menu is unpopulated.
Nothing is shown here.. no categories, nothing.
I know it works bacause I can use it on this forum, so have I forgotten to press a button, set a flag, tick a checkmark box..???

Had a good look around with no luck. This has me stumped.
Assistance is Fertile!!

It should work, but there are some SQL errors that are not caught. What are your MySQL client & MySQL server versions? Server should be at least 5.0, otherwise some queries will fail.
