Question can't get Google ads to fit properly

This template is versatility4 if I'm correct.anyway, I'm using exactly the same company and I'm trying to put a Google banner in the top module position. According to the company, the module is 468x 60 which is the same as the Google banner I'm trying to insert. Unfortunately, the bottom of the banner is being cut off slightly. I increase the height of the module to 70 and the power fitted in perfectly, but then the search module squashed at the bottom and didn't look right. Could someone give me the instructions of what I need to change to get it to fit properly?

If you right click on the Google banner and select on properties it tells me its 468 * 49 not 60.

However, I'm having a real battle getting Google ads to show on the web page. This problem before, I think it's got something to do with the editor messing up the HTML code. At the moment, I've got two editors installed, tiny and JcE.in the tiny editor, I have code cleanup turned off. In the jce editor, I have to clean up the HTML turned off as well. But still, every time I put the code into the module, it strips out.
