Question Basic questions

Hi,

I just installed and configured Kunena. However I do not know how to publish it on my site of if there is a link that I have to visit to access the forum (i.e. [email protected]).

Please assist and thank you in advance

Welcome!

As with all Joomla components, you need to create a menu item for it. Simple enter the Menu Manager for your main menu and add a new menu item. Call it Forum and select the Kunena component as the target. Save and publish the menu item and you should be all set.

Thank you... I owe you one. One more question - my registered users cannot post messages. Did I skip something along the way. They can view the forum (not sure if they can respond to posted items).

Even the Administrators do not have the 'post' link.

Check your forum setup. Set the categories/forum to published and not locked.

Hi... I checked and it was not locked.



The registered user i tested with is an administrator. I am using 1.5 and I enabled the 1.0 Legacy mode.

You are looking at the wrong screen. You need to go into the Kunena Forum Administration and check the proper settings there.
