Currently,

I'm testing Kunena on a test board before I go live with it and I'm just wanting to learn the basics, but I'm stumped as how to make a category that I set up for 'everyone' to be able to view to switch it back so that only the 'admins' can view it.

I know by not selecting anything under public access, and assigning an admin access level that only admins can see it, but how do I go back and set it so only admins can view the category and its forums?

Again,

I'm just testing right now so this is why I'm changing the settings around.

You can change forum to be admin only (scroll down). There's no need to change admin access level.

How? All I see under the 'public' access level is Everybody, all registered, registered with a few options.

Hmm.. Then it should work. We had a bug in Kunena 1.0.9 which caused forum ACL not to get updated right away when you change settings. Workaround was to wait longer than Kunena session timeout.

It has been fixed in Kunena 1.0.10.
