Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

How to make 'categories' the main page when clicking the link to the forums was created by parev
Making the switch from Agora because there is just too many bugs with it at the moment and I'm trying to figure out how to make forums open directly to the categories section.

Example...when I post a link on my site for the forums, I want it to go to the categories section. I was thinking I'd be able to edit this under the menu item manager for the Kunena forum, but it won't let me change the link.

Any help is greatly appreciated so I can start using these boards.

Hi!

Welcome to the world of Kunea!

There is a setting in the Kunena backend configuration called: Default Kunena Page
It is set to Recent Discussions by default but can be changed to My Discussions or Categories.

That should do the trick. Make sure you hit save after making the change. Next page view of the default page should get you the proper start page by default.
