Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I logged out to check it and you are right! but they are all published.
This is wierd
in the security settings:
Registered Users Only : No
Allow Name Change : No
Public Read/Write : No

Look at your screeshot!
All other forums should look like the main forum in the column "public access" . In the column "admin access" you have to set a backend control.
Okay, picture tells more than 1000 words
, go to kunena configuration -> forum administration and make the settings of ALL forums and of the Categories like on the screenshot.

2 of the 3 problems solved... Thank you my posts are now visible for visitors and also when I log in I can see my discussions.
Still cant see anything in the recent discussions says 0
but at least I can disable it.
