Question how to stop a user from posting personal text and signature

Hey this may be an odd request, but i am wondering if there is a way to stop a user from posting a personal text, or signature.

I have a user on a board i manage that constatly puts in some profane stuff in their, we remove it, they re-add it. we delete the account, they signup again from another email address.

Any ideas?

just to mention as well, i dont want to remove it for all users, just the one.

I don't see how that would be possible. You remove it and they sign up again as another user. Same game all over again. Welcome to forum administration.

I figured so much, cat and mouse games suck... we have been trying to remove this user from signing up for so long now, that i have almost thrown in the towel. even if we ban the user via ip, he goes through a proxy. I do wish there was an easier way to admin the users profile however to remove the personal text as well, i know i can do the sig, but personal text i need to remove with phpmyadmin.

hmmmm i wonder if i can write a cronjob to do the update every 5 mins or so.... lol

Are there many new users every day? If not then moderate all new users that wants to join your site.
you only have to do this for a short time untill the user gives up.
