--unfortunately the html special characters is still present in the subject..
i am thinking the these html special characters generated from old kunena 1.08 messages and was still carried-over to the new kunena 1.09 upgrade may not be stored in the database, perhaps. maybe they are stored correctly but it's just that they are just displayed wrongly.
what do you think..?

They work in here.. Hmm. Why don't you look into the database and find a message which has that problem? Then let me see the topic (by using phpMyAdmin)
i did doublecheck "subject" in jos_fb_messages and confirmed that there are no subjects containing these html special characters..
however i found something else.. i dunno if it is considered a special character though.. notice the qoutes - single and double are being preceded by a backslash "\"
e.g.
blue's clues = blue\'s clues
"me" = \"me\"

but it is still appearing in the subjects.. check screenshot below..
would it be safe now to assume that those hmtl special characters appearing in the subject is actually caused by the way it was being displayed.. like not correctly displayed.. even if it was correctly stored in the database..??

Does this happen in somewhere else, too?
Will fix this for Kunena 1.0.10, which will be released soon.
