Upgrading - Templates and Embedding video was created by Mr Livered
Kunena looks great and I'd like to upgrade when 1.0.8 comes out, but I have a couple of questions first:
Does templating work the same way as for Fireboard? My current forum has the categories page as default, I think the template was called Dorona Brown, will I be able to keep this?
FB had the ability to embed youtube videos just by posting the youtube url. My members use this facility a lot, is it maintained?
Many thanks.

Right now, yes, it works same way... dorona rown may work with problems, as it already had them with FB1.0.5, and you will miss lots of the fixes of latest FB1.0.5 and kunena, as most of the logic is still in the templates.
no, we have a video tag, for youtube it autorecognises host, as well as some others.

no, it means that for youtube, you just need to write
but for, others you may have to write the video provider
Code:
[video]videourl[/video]
but for, others you may have to write the video provider
Code:
[video=metacafe]videourl[/video]

For information:
Further to the above discussion, just to confirm that youtube urls are automatically recognised and embedded by Kunene 1.0.8; in other words, I have found that simply posting a youtube url with no tags produces an embedded video as it did in FB 1.0.5RC2.
