Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Is it possible to display Recent discussion TAB to public in restricted access forum to register members ?

At present my forum is set for ONLY Registered members. So whenever some visitor (non-login member) clicks on 'Forum link', it displays message 'this forum is only for registered members. Please login or register'.

What i want is to display the recent discussion TAB openly to public and non-registered members. So when someone try to open any thread, then the default message should get flashed- 'this forum is only for .....'.

This way it will tempt visitors to register to my site.

Ofcourse i can do it by using Recent discussion MODULE, but it will unnecessary occupy the space. Secondly it will not provide same look as that of RECENT discussion tab.

Is there any trick or hack to accomplish this ?

Interesting idea. We have UserVoice for feature requests (it can be found from the front page). Can you post your request in there?
