Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Ok, I am new to forums,
I downloaded and installed it into joomla.

I can not figure out how to be able to post on the wall. I was able to post this by clicking new threads, how do i get that to show up for the users on my site?

Please help!

I don't know anything about "posting on the wall". I think that's a term used in JomSocial and Community Builder. If you would like to know where to start, visit the Kunena documentation site .

Before you can start posting in your forum, you must define forum and categories for your forum. You do this in the Joomla backend or administrator part. Go to:

Components >> Kunena forum >>Forum administration and hit the new button, fill inn name and a description, then save. This gives you a category to place your forum in. Then you do the same one more time, but this time you choose the category you just med as the "parent" of your forum.

I hope this helps. Further you may need to give your forum the proper permission.
