The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. Hi

We are just developing a major joomla site which will be going live for testing initially in about 8 weeks. We're trying to make the difficult decision of choosing a forum for the site.

From the appearance point of view we very much like kunena but are worried about likely time span before it can be relied on. The only other alternative seems to be Agora but that also is only in a beta stage...SO... do you have any idea about timescales (particulaly if you have any idea where you are relative to Agora - sorry to ask about the competition).

Sorry to ask a question which is so hard to answer...only here because we love what you are doing:)

Cheers Nick

Kunena 1.0.8 (and 1.0.9) are very stable on both Joomla 1.0.15 and 1.5.10. So you can rely on it today! Are your concern enabling the legacy plugin?

Kunena 1.5.0 alpha, which runs on Joomla 1.5.x natively (without legacy plugin) is already released for testing purpose.

I can't see your problem...

1.0.9 is the latest stable version and will be very easy to upgrade once 1.5 goes stable. Other than that I won't speak to any timelines. To that end I'll close this thread.

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)
