Kunena 6.4.7 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.7[K 6.4.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Actually I have made some plans to introduce groups support for K1.6, but I'm not yet sure if it will make into K1.6.0. But I'm quite confident that we will have it soon after K1.6 as it is in my top priority right now. At first feature could be J1.6 only, but relevant parts of ACL in J1.6 seems to be easy to backport to Kunena / J!1.5, if needed to.

In the mean time we need to test existing functionality in K1.6 daily builds and fix all the bugs in order to get us into Beta stage. Instructions can be found from Kunena 1.6 - a moderator's view: #42664

I tried to do it but I am not able to do it.

The short answer is that the feature did not make it into K 1.5. There will be no new features added to K 1.5.

Kunena 1.6 is currently in development. Perhaps this is something that might make it into K 1.6 if there is user support for the need. From what I've seen, this looks like a "dead duck" to me. :(
