The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If we have 3 Forums set up - Forum1, 2 and 3.
Is it not possible to get the user details from their JomSocial record and check if they have access to (say) Forum 2 then only display Forum 2 when they access the Kunena forum page.
We do have integration plugin (for K1.6.4) with JomSocial groups integration -- allowing users in a JomSocial group to access a Kunena category. It will be available together with Kunena 1.6.4.
It's available for our testers and works with J1.6.4. If you're interested to test AND report bugs from it, please join into our testers group in JomSocial. After getting approved you will have access to our internal builds.
I couldn't figure out how to have a forum under a category where everyone could view it but only authors/editors/publisher/managers/adminsitrators could reply to it.
