Kunena 6.0 has been designed to work on Joomla! 4.0,...

Introduction:

The Kunena team is thrilled to announce the third public beta release of Kunena 6.0, a native Joomla extension for Joomla 4.x. This is a development release and should be only be used for testing; this version is not recommended for live websites at this stage.

The purpose of this release is to encourage testing by downloading, installing and identifying any problems or shortcomings that people may discover. K 6.0.0 B3 is stable and we are aware that people will discover defects. We encourage you to use the forum to report defects, as soon as they are discovered, so that the development team can work through the problems before the release of K 6.0 as a stable product. Reporting defects does not mean that the problems can or will be fixed. The Kunena team is looking forward to hearing your feedback on how well we have achieved our design goals.

Greetings.
I have installed Kunena beta 4 on joomla 4.03, configured everything and it seems to work very well.
The only problem, for now, is the Italian language, how can I increase the one used for joomla 3 Kunena?
Thanks.

Hello,

The beta 4 isn't yet released and it's just for now developpement version, we are still many issues to fix on Kunena 6.0

We need to look when we can provide a language pack

The language package includes the current Italian translation for Kunena 5.2, but many strings are not translated. And an adjusted language package for K6.0 is not yet available.

Thanks for the replies.
Anyway, I downloaded the beta 4, I don't know how! :-)
I have to say it's very good. I'll wait to make it public.
I'm trying to translate the files contained in the en-GB folder on the public side, it's a bit long, but I try.
Will it be much missing for the definitive Kunena 6?

Currently 70 Kunena 5.2 strings are not translated for Italian language. These will then also be used in Kunena 6.0. In addition, more strings will then be added for Kunena 6.0 (I don't know how many).
Every member who creates an account on Transifex can apply to help translate Kunena into his language.

Will I be able to upgrade from the Beta Releases to the Final Build?
Or Will that not be possible?

In principle, it should be possible when the time is right. But on a live site, you should not yet use the Beta 3.

That's Good to know.
I'll take heed of of your answer.

P.S. I have played with Beta 3 on a test site, and I really like the new look.
Nice work!

P.S. The Powered By Button Plugin works on it.
But I'm sure you already know this.
