Joomla 4.0 and Kunena 6.0 use bootstrap 4 templates. But it will take even longer until Joomla 4.0 is stable, therefore we backport this template to Kunena 5.2 so that you can use it on Joomla 3.9 if you have installed a Joomla bootstrap 4 template.
But this template will earliest be included with the next generation of Kunena 5.2.

Since the first alpha of Joomla! 4.0 we have started the work on Kunena 6.0, on this version most of the work has been done to update the code to remove deprecated things (move all queries to JDatabaseQuery to be more database agnostic, convert Kunena to namespaces and change the directory structure to follow the new Joomla! 4.0 way). This has taken all the times so we haven't worked on new features except the integration of private feature because the work has been done for rocketheme template and it will work in same way in K6.0:

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I think the info on Kunena 6.0 should be in an another topic on announcement, the developpement of K6.0 was sometime in standby. I will see to write something after the final release of K5.2
