Wow
I love a quick response

Well the old jos_fb- XXX tables are safely gone so what about the old fbfiles folders in the image folders on the FTP

I see Kunena now uses the Media/kunena folder, so can i delete the old fbfiles folder as well ??

cheers

Yes

Well today was fun because the back office of my site crashed with a 500 - An error has occurred when i ran it in debug

JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1146 - Table 'XXXXXX_XXXXXXX.jos_fb_messages' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM jos_fb_messages WHERE hold='1'

I had to upload a back-up of the configuration php because nothing would work
Any ideas why the site was looking for a jos_fb database ??

Another problem is I have saved all the old jos_fb databases but some are to big 9.990kb to upload via my cpanel

cheers

You are using an old module or something (looks like it involves pending messages (?)) leftover from a previous version. Uninstall whatever it was. The K 1.6.3 release notes clearly state:

At this point in the discussion, we're drifting from "can I remove FB databases after upgrade to Kunena 1.6.3" as a General Talk about Kunena subject. Topics in the General Talk about Kunena category are intended to be general. You asked a general question, "Can I remove fb_* databases after upgrading to Kunena 1.6.3?", and the general answer to that question is yes.

In general terms you can remove the fb_* tables from your database after upgrading to K 1.6. The fb_* tables are retained in case you want to revert back to your previous K 1.5 version. If you do not feel the need to go back to K 1.5 then, yes, you can drop the fb_* tables. The question has been asked many times before and the answer is the same.

Any other specific questions about why you're having problems should nor be posted in the General Talk about Kunena category.
