I think we're reaching beyond the original premise of this topic. Although I appreciate that you have specific issues with the Kunena Discuss plugin - one could even describe these as support issues involving the Kunena Discuss plugin - I felt that the fundamental issue was a little different. The fundamental problem is a lack of a clear, easy-to-follow guide. In fact, it's this same lack of a clear, easy-to-follow guide that has deterred me from using the Kunena Discuss plugin myself. I am sure that I am not alone. But, by the same token, there are many other people who are quite happily using the Kunena Discuss plugin without the added advantage of having a clear, easy-to-follow guide and we must ask ourselves the question why is that?

Learning how to use the Kunena Discuss plugin takes time - time that I don't have - and I am sure that there are pockets of knowledge on this site, in this forum (and possibly on other sites around the internet, too) that deal with some of the issues you are having. It's also possible that the issues you are having have not been encountered before - I don't know, it's all a bit "technical" for me. So, I'm sorry, but if you have technical questions about specific problems involving the Kunena Discuss plugin, please use the Kunena Discuss (P) category to ask those questions.

We can, however, continue to discuss the lack of quality documentation about Kunena software in this General Talk about Kunena category. :)

G'day, megabri, and welcome to Kunena.

As I stated in my earlier comment, this is the General Talk about Kunena category and we are discussing the lack of "how to" documentation about the Kunena Discuss plugin. The General Talk about Kunena category is for discussing the Kunena software and this site in a general way; it is not a support category. This is not the right place to ask questions about specific problems that people might be having with Kunena software or Kunena add-ons like the Kunena Discuss plugin.

See the last message I posted in this topic and use the category I recommended to ask your question. I realise that you are new to this forum and I hope you aren't put off by the slightly abrupt welcome that you received.

Let's stay on-topic. If anyone has ideas on how to contribute to documenting the Kunena Discuss plugin, we would love to hear from you. Thank you. :)
