Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

using kunena 1.6 on Joomla 1.5

excellent, a huge pat on the back.

We have one problem, on other systems a person makes a post on a thread, if someone replies an email is sent, if other people reply no further emails are sent until that thread is visited again. What we are getting is each time another person adds to that thread, another email is being sent out, which means people are getting lots of emails on popular threads, is there a way to stop this

i know there is unsubscribe buttons but this would mean no notification at all

you help much appreciated.

Shortly, in K 1.6.4, there are new features that have been added to Kunena to reduce the volume of email notifications in ways that you have mentioned in your post. I hope this information helps. We only ask that you remain patient until K 1.6.4 can be made publicly available,
