Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi guys I have fields from another database that I want to load onto my new site, how do I go about doing it? I loaded the categories via PHPMYADMIN but the categories are not reflecting on the site? any suggestions

You posted your question to the General Talk about Kunena category. The purpose of this category is described as follows:

Please use other categories for support questions and third-party software.

Therefore, keeping to things general, the issued involved in importing/converting/migrating other software forms to Kunena have been discussed in specific detail many times before but the recommended methodology is somewhat Kunena version-specific. I think it would help to know what version of Kunena we are discussing and to re-categorise this topic in a different way.

It would also help to know what you are trying to convert/migrate from in order to advise you the best way to go about that conversion. phpMyAdmin has its uses but it may not necessarily work in all situations. I don't think anyone would know what do do without knowing more about all of the issues involved.

I understand that you have been continually unable to install Kunena . I think this first step to using Kunena is vital before we start going into specific methods for converting, wouldn't you agree?
