Question Comment approval

The BBS I need, requires comment approval for every single post -other than moderators-.

Is this kind of system possible in Kunena?

(Not asking how to implement, just if it's possible)

The short answer is, yes, Kunena has this facility built-in.

In the Kunena context, we tend to avoid words like "comment", preferring instead to use words like messages or posts. Kunena forums can be setup so that messages must be reviewed (and approved) before they appear, irrespective of whether the messages start new topics for discussion or if they are replies to existing topics.

Many thanks, looks like I will be adopting Kunena then; pending one other feature. I need to build two forums, one in English and the other in Mandarin. Don't suppose you guys have a version in Mandarin?

You have asked about translations of Kunena, there is a separate category for that. Please ask your question separately, give it a meaningly topic, and lace it within the appropriate category to give someone else an oportunity to address it properly.

I have no personal knowledge (nor experience) in translating Kunena. The documentation Wiki also provides some information. I also believe that you can use Joomfish - a Joomla translation extension - with Kunena.

You can only have one instance of Kunena installed on a website - if you want to run two "Kunenas" you need to run them from two sites.
