Short answer is time: we need to get K1.6 out first.

I am guessing that a lot of things that the programers have invisioned for Kunena will be implememted in time of course. K~1.6 will probably create the ability for the forum to sustain such add-ons in the future.

Not to sound ungrateful at all, because this forum is amazing!!
But would it be possible to tell us whether or not a PM system is actually being implemented?
Also if we choose to use a 3rd party PM system, and you finally develop one.. would we be able to import the PM messages? Or will all PM messages be lost during the install?
Thank you very much!

I am gonna take a shot in the dark and say you'd lose PM's form the 3rd party system after you get rid of said 3rd party system. But you can always PM yourself important messages before getting rid of that 3rd party module.

If there will be our own PM system in the future, we will make import scripts at least for UddeIM and JomSocial (as they are used in our own sites). BTW: I've made default_ex theme for the next UddeIM version.

Hello, I'm a new user and a fresh boarder of kunena.
I choose kunena 'cause it's fresh, clean and fully integrated in joomla, so I decided -and I do it!- to export my old PNphpbb2 forum to it.
Everything works fine, but 3D parts PMS (uddeIM) makes me some issues (answers to messages redirect to a white page, composing a fresh message doesn't).
I'm very glad in reading that probably there'll be a built-in version of PM in the 1.6 version of kunena.
I think that many users that built their own website will guess that integration will join community bulder too...
Am I wrong?
Thank you so much

Excuse me for my english, it's not my own language.
