Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics contains old discussions (generally more than one year ago or based on circumstances that subsequently changed) or topics resolved in other ways. Topics moved into this category are closed from further discussion.

Is there any news or info about service release 1.5.4 ?

1.5.3 seems to be stable, but not all the way fixed and there were some talk about small service release upcoming soon?

We are just testing 1.5.4 (final test phase), it contains a few bugfixes.

It is also installed here on kunena.com.

That seems to be now on Twitter as well.

I appreciate the hard work behind K. 1.5.3 and result is good. No totally bugfree code exist. But if there is more adjusted version coming soon, I´m lazy enaugh to wait B)

Also planning to do and share my own version of *_ex template and its futile to base it on code what might change nearby.

Not all known bugs have been fixed for K1.5.4 either. Just some of the most serious ones. I've been busy with our new baby girl and more fixes would only delay the release further away.

Good news is that we have made some good progress with Kunena 1.6. Instead of making a huge release after two years of development we have chosen to release often and have smaller number of well defined changes.

There are not that many changes between Kunena 1.5.3 and 1.5.4, so upgrading your template should be pretty easy (with a decent diff tool) even if you decide to start making your template now.
