Hi.

I'm new to FB and Kunena, but have used phpbb1,2,3 and VB for many year. I'm working on a new project ho is going online in Mars or April, and I'm in the process of finding the "right" forumsoftware for my Joomla site. Is it possible to ask if the 1.5 Native version will come out whit in this time. Yes, hopefully, I don't think so, No.

Thanks and Regards for Norway.

Please stop asking about j1.5 native version, is on our top priority list, but is not easy tank, is going at good speed, but we don't know what problems when a new problem will arise and how long will it take to fix it... so, no we don't know, we expect in less than 3 months, but can't promise nothing.

It will be done when it's done ;)

Yes, hopefully

We have a first working prototype but it is too early to share.

However, you can run it in leagcy for now and the upgrade when we realse the native version. Upgrade will be seemless - no manual steps required.

fxstein, it would be great to come up with a phpbb3 import now. Many users switched to phpbb3 when fireboard shutdown. I think it would be a great way to make it easy for people to return and get more help on development. RocketTheme and other Joomla developers are using phpbb3 as standard. I think new clean pro themes, new plugins, and a stable native version will help this project out big time! You need to shake off the fireboard reputation and start fresh with a great new project! In fact now that I think about it, I would just focus on Kunena and just state the Fireboard users now have a solution they can upgrade to.

So far so good!
