Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I asked my hosting company about this issue. They had the following to say:

The application you are making use of requires the following:
1. php max_execution_time >= 120
2. php memory_limit >= 64M

They say they can't increase the max_execution_time (which is currently set to 60. Is it possible to run Kunena with the lower amount? If so, how?

Reiterating what I wrote last time. We're still getting nowhere until we see the user's configuration report.

Velisa: can you provide your K 1.6 configuration report , please?

There is nothing wrong with your site home page: www.energyfind.co.za/

I notice that you are running Joomla 1.5.22 in legacy mode. Please read the important information about Legacy mode and remove your dependence on this "requirement" for your site before you strike further problems in the future.

That explanation, given to you by your hosting company, is most unlikely in the present circumstances and the facts don't support those conclusions.

I cannot find Kunena on your website. Where is it?

I have removed Legacy mode. Thanks for that. I didn't really understand that before.

I removed Kunena because it crashes my website... the homepage would not show. I have installed it now again which means my home page will probably go down soon. There is a Forum link under main menu now (if it shows).

Thanks again for the help. I am looking forward to solving this!

I have moved the link to the top menu.

Something I have noticed after disabling legacy mode is that in Community Builder - Plugins, the Forum Integration component doesn't have the lock on the left of it... before, regardless if it was published or not, it had a lock icon nect to it. What does this mean?

So far the site is still up and I can't see any problems at this point. If it is going to go blank again, it may take a few hours. It took 4days before!
