Question [Merged topic] Kunena 1.6.0 RC1 and Groupjive

I guess it should be "General Talk about Kunena".

If there is another way of solving this problem, I'll be ecstatic.

It's an educational site and I am trying to make one forum for teachers, one for students and one for parents.

I don't think the General Talk about Kunena category is appropriate, either. Because you've used the words "group forums" in your opening post - and the concept doesn't exist in Kunena - it seems to me that you're trying to discuss something to do with Community Builder or one of its add-ons.

We do have a Community Builder category here, but our help in this area is very limited. The Community Builder category is mainly intended to supplement the help that people should be able to get from the developers of that software. This category is mainly written from a Kunena perspective and depends on whether or not the particular features you are using have been incorporated into the Kunena project. Groups and group forums are currently outside the present scope of Kunena ... but let's first understand what it is that you're having difficulty with. Again, this might be something that may require the input from the folks at Joomlapolis .

I'v upgraded from Kunena 1.5.12. Kunena to 1.6.0 -RC1, running with CB 1.2.3 CBsubs 1.0.3 and GroupJive 1.8.1

Now when I create a new group in groupjive I don't get the corresponding new forum for the new group.

Has anyone else had this problem?

GJ 1.8 does not support Kunena 1.6, nor will it ever. GJ 1.8 is no longer being developed. Our currently in test team GJ 2.0 fully supports Kunena 1.5, 1.6, and Fireboard.
