Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I don't think this is a question specifically related to Community Builder (although I did move your message from the Support category where it was originally posted). This is probably more of a "how to" question. But there might be something in CB that I'm unaware of.

I am assuming that you're using K 1.5.12 and CB 1.2.3 (which are, in both cases, the latest stable releases of both products). If I am wrong then I hope you will set the record straight.

As far as Kunena is concerned, there is a Configuration Setting (which you probably changed from the initial value): Username = Yes. This should answer your question. If I'm wrong then it's something in CB that is overriding this value and you should ask your question at the Joomlapolis support forum . Please let us know how things turn out for you.
