The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.1 [K 7.0.1] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Add my Joomla users to Kunena

As I wrote before, I'm not familiar with the functions of JomSocial or its various add-ons and that's something you might have more success with if you ask at their forum .

As far as the other part of your question is concerned

Is there a kunena function that allows me manually subscribe users independently of the JS G Component.

we need to be careful to understand what you mean by "subscribe". In Kunena, this has a very narrow definition. It means that users automatically receive emails whenever there is a new message posted in the topics that they have selected. If that is your definition, then I would have to say that there is no facility built into Kunena that provides you with that solution. However there may be a solution built into JomSocial that I'm unaware of.

That's exactly what I need sozzled, the possibility (as administrator) to subscribe users to a forum (so they get email notification for each post).

This website also have the Jomsocial component installed and JS G Kunena component or a similar one. I will very much appreciate if you move this thread to the Jomsocial area, hopefully I can find a solution there :(

Warm wishes
Gladys

chela5808,
I'm trying to figure out the same thing. It appears you can opt people in if you alter the database itself, but that's unrealistic to do every time someone joins a group. I can't find any user-friendly way to go about it.
