Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I apologise for seeming a bit harsh. If you don't provide us with a link to your website, but only list a couple of errors), it's not easy to tell what you're doing. It's because you mentioned something about your CSS "dying" (I'm not sure what you mean) that led me to leaping to my conclusion about the template.

That's the way it should be! B)

Your error definitely indicates that you have another component or module that's conflicting with Kunena. It's unfortunate that there's no easy remedy in your case. My guess is that the problem has to do with the RocketTheme template as a quick search through this forum will reveal that RocketTheme is often responsible for causing havoc with Kunena. Perhaps you might try uninstalling everything that's associated with RocketTheme.

The URL is techmeetup.org if that helps.

I'm actually not using any RocketThemes templates/tools. I'm using a template from Joomla Shack (JS Simplicity).

What version of JomSocial are you running?

There is an important file missing inside the Jomsocial install. Without that the integration cannot work.

components/com_community/libraries/userpoints.php

Hope this helps!

Upgraded JomSocial and it worked perfectly. Thanks! Now if I could just remember how I got rid of the bullets on my tabs before I'd be in good shape :) I know I had to ad UL LI in a bunch of places, but can't remember where.

Again, my apologies for leading this topic astray into irrelevant matters (RocketTheme). It's been a bad day for me, I think. I saw one reference to RocketTheme in this discussion topic (from someone else) and I associated this with Justyn ... well, there you go!

I'm really happy that you were able to solve your problem yourself by upgrading your JomSocial component. Perhaps you could help us: what version of JomSocial were you using before? Maybe we need a FAQ page to tell other users that version x.y.z of JomSocial causes problems in Kunena?
