Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I installed and published mambot first.

Then, I tried to install the module... but I got the error!

I'm using Kunena 1.0.8

Any way to solve this?

I tried to install this (French version) yesterday on 1.0.9. It locked up my website with a message that said "restricted access" when I tried to access any page on my site.

Also the admin panel would not work.

I resolved the issue by going to my cpanel and deleting all of the files associated with this.

Anyone else see this? I used this bot / mod on a previous fireboard install with no issues.

This post is 3 months old. That was when Kunena was a beta-1.0.7b. Obviously this has never been updated. So of course it worked on FireBoard since that's what it was originally written for. 3 months ago there was very little difference in Kunena and FireBoard.

OK so the newer English version will operate properly then with 1.0.9?

I don't understand the question. Did you not post that it did NOT work with 1.0.9? The last report of compatibility was version 1.0.8.
