Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

UddeIM will support Kunena from version 1.7. It didn't make it into 1.6, but you can find Kunena compatible version from SVN. Maybe you people can make requests for 1.6.1 with Kunena support B)

sorry matias, im about to change over my fireboard to kunena and am going to wait for the 1.08 stable kunena build. Will this have Uddeim and CB support?
still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile :(

CB should work, at least if you don't have CB plugins for FireBoard.

UddeIM has support for Kunena, but it's not in the latest build. If you don't like to use latest SVN you may ask author of UddeIM to publish special release for Kunena users.

I talking with Stephan Slabihoud (uddeIM developer) severals times (before you or Matias post here) and now we have active version in SVN as Matias says, there is in uddeIM SVN version what can be use latest Funena 1.0.7b version, where uddeIM is support to Funena. On this time developer (Stephan Slabihoud) and testers/translators/designers use time for the next release in uddeIM and help people whit 1.6 if they can't read FAQ of component.

Last saturday 31.1.2009 was released latest uddeIM 1.6 as you can read:

Hi,

I am the developer of uddeIM.

I added Kunena support in the current trunk. Due to the code freeze that was beginning of January I was not able to add it to the recently released uddeIM 1.6.

Nevertheless I am not able to test every forum, community etc. component, so I need help from people who use these components. You can pull the current trunk from Joomlacode.org. Even when it is pretty stable I do only recommend using it on a test site since some database updates are required which may change again later in the stable version.

Please give feedback in my dev forum on Joomlapolis if it works fine or if there are still issues with the integration of Kunena (links back to Kunena profile, Avatar from Kunena etc.).

I assumed that Kunena continues using the fb_xxx tables if not please give feedback right in time so I can change this in uddeIM 1.7 release.
