Question Users icons...

Hello,

i'm using joomla 1.5.11, cb 1.2.1 and kunena 1.5.3

i'd like to know how i can make icons under users avatar appear as it appears here on kunena's site(as born date, gender, skype, location, etc...) ?

I don't know that you want exactly, this icons are shown if you filled your profile.

As xilli says, they are there if you fill the fields in profile.

I don't use CB myself so I don't know about it, but jomsocial for example, does not parse these fields yet, so you need to fill them in your kunena profile, even if it's not used

Ok there is a little bit of work in this!

1. Go to Joomla! backend, then go to Kunena Forum >> Kunena Configuration
and scroll down to Integration. Please ensure that both "Avatar Integration" & "Profile Settings" are set to Community Builder

2. Navigate to Community Builder >> Plugin Management >> Forum integration
(i)Make sure that published = "yes"
(ii) set up the parameters on the right (iii) Set Sidebar Mode tot "Beginner field selection"

3. Now go to field management and set-up all the appropriate field listed below the Forum integration Sidebar Mode then go back to Forum integration and select them

I've done what you said, it seems to work except for gender, it doesn't show it.

My cb field for gender is named cb_sexe, is there something to do with that or is it something else causing that ?

if it's something to do with it, where can i change cb_gender to cb_sexe in kunena to make it work ?

I don't think this should make a difference ? All I could say is

1. Make sure it properly selected in the sidebar of the forum integration plugin
2. Make sure that cb_sexe is published in the field manager.

If this doesn't work you can PM me backend access (for a few mins) to your site and I'll have a look if you want
