Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I can't find sh404sef plugin for Kunena 1.5.3.

Links are category01/messageXX.html with sh404sef after i upgraded 1.0.10 to 1.5.3.

Is there any sh404sef ext. compatiable with Kunena 1.5.3?

There are some changes in Kunena 1.5.3 which breaks all existing SEF components. It should be fairly easy to fix for someone who knows the component.

FYI - We strongly recommend you take a look at the Joomla 1.5 internal SEF support. It is native, does not create the performance impact many of the SEF 3rd party solutions come with.

We are running it here live on the site. URLs are nice and performance is tops.
We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

yeah, i really need plugin sh404sef for kunena 1.5.3..


However i renamed the com_fireboard in /components/com_sh404sef/sef_ext to com_kunena.php and put empty file named com_kunena.php to /components/com_sh404sef/meta_ext. It works so far, but i don;t know if there will an error in the future. But this method ruin the meta keyword and description. I don't know how to fix this.

Also this method will display only half content when we go to the sub forum :blush:

Is it possible to switch off SH404SEF just for Kunena? (I need SH404SEF for the rest of the website).
With "Joomla 1.5 internal SEF support" you mean the two radio buttons in the global configuration? Icannot find more. Google does not know this phrase.

Select "skip" for kunena but it doesnt be internal sef, it will be no sef
